So we are having a log burner fitted at the moment, need to find a decent fire guard to keep little miss big surfer from burning her self. The log burner sits in the room so will need to be a 3 sided affair. Anybody got something similar and any advice on type, make etc.
Have seen the Baby Dan fure guard which seems to fit the bill appart from its bars so needs to be more than an arms length away from the stove all the way around.
Its a Morso Badger Stove approx 500mm wide 600 deep and 750mm high if that affects anybodies advice.
my kids just learnt that fire was hot and were fine - though obviously care was taken re this and a table in front stopped them running at it/near it

filing will be a pain though
they only burn themselves once.
However, I found out that under some 1930's act its illegal to have a source of heat unguarded in a room where there's a child under 12. If they die from the fire you can be fined.
We have just bought this one

In fairness we havent got it out of the box yet as Baby FD isnt quite walking yet. Have to admit it doesnt look as nice on the pics as the Morso one, but is £30 as opposed to £105 !

I am sure that will be the least of your worries?
especially if you can sell their cadavers for scientific research...
