Does anyone know if there are set mimimum dimensions of a crawl board? Can I buy these specifically for insulating the loft? Have used old floor boards in the past but not sure if they're wide enough - cheers

Get some chip board "loft boards" from a diy shop. normally around 1200x300 IIRC with T&G edges. 1 wide would probably be ok, but two wide would be a really comfortable to work from. about £5 for a pack of 3 normally.

Baldy - out of interest have you used these before - seem quite narrow and heavy to me
