If you want a big one then Wrexham. Coed Poeth has some smaller shops but nothing big.

theres a Co-op in Coedpoeth on the Ruthin Road.

As others have said there's a Spar and a Co-Op in Coedpoeth, but there's a Sainsburys just off the A483 at Wrexham (it's the next turning off after the A494 for Llandegla if you're heading north).
