True.

We should go out for a ride and a good old fashion whinge once you've finished doing silly training stuff.

Decathlon.

Lots of colours and styles, just as good as the pricier stuff, often much nicer.

Its a shame the Surface hoodie isn't available anymore. I guess the nearest equivalent would be the Swrve Milwaukee but its a bit spendy.

Technical how?

Montane Fury is excellent, great close fitting/technical hood which is perfect for walking, doesn't look as good as a 'hoody'

Been wearing my Rab Vapour Rise Alpine quite a bit too

I've got a Patagonia Better Sweater - looks like a casual jumper but it's a nice warm fleece.

A good alternative to fleece is a nice thick merino wool mid-layer.
There are lots around. Sportpursuit is a good place to start

Do the Patagonia and Alpkit ones give you electric shocks?
If I give Mrs zip a kiss in man made fibres we get a shock ,it's not my sparkling personality believe me.
I bought a Polo wool zip up about 12.years ago and looking to replace it. They are now £240 and not as good.
Wool recommendations as well please.
