Anyone else used one of these? Looking for tips with cleaning car upholstery etc.
I did think about hiring one but this works out to 2 and a bit hires so made sense to buy it I think.
Think I'll try screwfix no nonsense carpet cleaner for a start.

I have one from Lidl that's far less industrial than that and is the same price. Brilliant bit of kit. Gets our mucky puppy paw prints out of the carpet with ease

Dunno about the cleaner but the screwfix cleaning fluid is really good,

That's less than half the price of the Karcher 4001 (which seems to be the cheapest in Screwfix/Toolstation).

Is this stuff all 'instore only' at Lidl?

I don't know how dirty the upholstery is that you're trying to clean, but you may be over complicating the solution. Our van seats got to a point where they were pretty grim (years of camping, dog, odd spilled drink, dirty post-ride bums etc) and I did them with a bottle of upholstery cleaner from Halfords. It was dead easy, dead quick and worked dead well.

@b33 yes in store only.

@IHN you might be right. I was going to initially do much the same starting with an APC then a bottle of upholstery shampoo. Then thought maybe I'd buy a Titan wet vac but then saw this at not much more.

We use the Screwfix No Nonsense cleaner in a Vax machine. Need to be quite generous with it, and rinse well, but it does the job well for the price.

Yes think I've read you need to use a stronger mix than suggested.
