My local old-rock station has D'yer Mak'er on a pretty short playlist, so I've had that in my head all day.
Epic.

From the BBC Sessions. Still the finest set of recordings they have done!

Robert Plant is a member of my local tennis club (Stourbridge). If you join the leagues you'd get to play him!
Very nice down to earth bloke apparently.

[s]rubbish.[/s] does nothing for me.

There you go, corrected that for you.
Just because something doesn't appeal to you doesn't make it rubbish. Quite the contrary.
I saw Zeppelin on the Physical Grafitti Tour, at Earls Court. Astonishing gig, Trampled Under Foot and Kashmir were awesome live.

The digital remastering of the back catalogue is almost a complete disaster. Physical Graffiti is virtually unlistenable.

Bloody Jimmy Page. He's spent most of his adult life getting his eardrums buggered by playing in front of a huge stack of Marshall amps turned up to eleven.

No bass end to speak of and the LOUDEST thing in the mix is, of course, his guitar...

Phhhtttt!

I have to agree with the Woppit. Love Led Zep, disappointed with every remaster I've heard.

Bumped into Mr Plant last weekend while out on the road bike.

He'd parked up his battered old 4x4 along some country lane and was hammering the crap out of some bricks in a pot hole.

Rock and roll.

I've been a fan for some years. But I have to say their Knebworth '79 concert was the single most disappointing live event I've ever been to. Chas n Dave were by far the best act of the day. And they were shite.

I have to say I also agree with Woppit regarding the remasters. Utter waste of time, they should have quietly given the original masters to Bob Ludwig and let him remaster them and just humoured Jimmy into thinking he'd done the job.

Every album released on vinyl, some original!

Still played, love it all, almost anyway.

Gods.
