Anyone used the book at all and got any feedback?
I have a few friends that have, gut feeling is that its good and works, the hardest part is sticking to it.
We have a copy and the OH uses recipes from it. Seems ok, nothing miraculous mind.
I've just done the first month of the SSS 90 day plan. Basically the same as the books but slightly tailored to the individual for portion sizes etc. And also includes the exercise/interval training element.
Dropped a stone in the first month and have never eaten so much food, and the food is good too. . Love it so far.
Book1 is the first month of the plan, book 2 is the second, the third book is the third month.
. The exercise regime and the way carbs are introduced are different in each stage.
We've got both books, some tasty dishes that are easy to make quickly. Works for me!
Does this offer detailed menu planning and portion gudiance - this is the bit I'm struggling with.
The good thing about the book is the recipes tend to be "smaller" servings, as in for 1 or 2 people, which I find very helpful as opposed to more traditional recipe books.

Sort of, but the SSS 90 day plan does that stuff in more detail. (And more expense obviously)
But if you follow the recommended exercise regime for each stage of the plan, my experience is, that you can eat till you burst, and your raised metabolism mops it all up and you still lose weight/inches.
I believe the premise of Lean in 15 is that you're generally prepping/eating the food post-workout. Therefore you need to be working out hard enough (in the first place) in order to enjoy the yummy carbs etc.
I've used it on and off, along with various 20 min HIIT sessions, and dropped a few pounds when doing it 'properly'. Was unable to follow it religiously so can't say on the longer term effect. Good stuff in the main though.
Got the book, use it for recipes as the workout stuff doesn't really suit my goal.
Food is largely awesome. Some cracking recipes in there. Curry in a hurry is a personal favourite for work lunches during the week.
Ms B is doing one of the 'proper' plans after trying the first two books.
I like the idea of it as it's based around exercise rather than stuff like slimming world/weight watchers that pretty much ignores exercise and just focuses eating little enough that you lose weight, rather than considering fitness and/or health.
The portion sizes in the book are massive. There were days when I'd done a 25 mile round trip commute on the bike and couldn't finish the portions (but then I'm not the target audience). It didn't really work in terms of weight loss, but given how much food was piled up on the plates at meal times I'm not surprised.
After the book the GF paid for one of the plans and the differences are that the 'permitted' foods are more restricted, there's more exercise, and the portions are significantly smaller. I don't know how you could lose any real weight while following the book recipes tbh.
The real world experience has been nowhere near as dramatic as some of the photos online, but it is working (slowly), and the exercise is hopefully a long term lifestyle change that's loads healthier than just avoiding 'full fat' versions of stuff for a few months a la Slimming World/WW.

It kind of is, but the general idea is that you restrict the carbs unless you have done a hiit session. And only load up on carbs to refuel if you have trained.
In the first month, carbs are only taken in any quantity straight after training. And the training is purely hiit cardio.
In the second month all three meals are "carb refuel" on a training day, but the training is a mixture of hiiit cardio and weights, concentrating on different areas each training day.
I haven't read the third month of the plan yet, but in understand it to be a combination of the first two.
The portion sizes ARE massive in my plan, but the raised metabolism due to the nature of the hiit exercise, seems to be meaning that the weight is still coming off. 3.5 lb/week loss for the last five weeks. I'm now under 13 stone for the first time in my adult life.
My wife has bought the books but i think needs a plan rather than being self sufficient.
1/ Would buying her one for Christmas get me killed?
2/ How much does a plan cost?
Food is great, best enjoyed feet up in front of the Tellybox, maybe with some crisps and a couple of beers.

(Unless you look on eBay and get a copy off someone with similar stats of course)
It's delivered as a PDF either way. But you don't get the ongoing online support and guidance if you don't buy legit, and I would imagine that's fairly useful to start with.
If people stick with it and are strict with themselves, I don't think it can fail to make a pretty serious transformation. But it's not easy.
She might not think it's the greatest present, but if she sticks with it properly for 3 months, you may get a different opinion at the end 😉
