Fantastic play list. Easy on the eye and a good DJ no?

Shes like the stick that scrapes Shaun Keaveny from my shoe ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Blimey sort of in agreement with Hora. She is lovely. Have had a bit of a crush ever since seeing Kenickie at the Garage in Islington many many years ago now ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'd assume Mrs Hora takes care of that most mornings.

Following in love - is that a creepy, pervy, stalker version of falling in love?

it's not defending Keaveney to realize that LaLa is one of the smuggest and self-congratulatory people on the planet (even amongst DJs). Her biorhythms section is just Our Tune re-packaged for the internet generation. I thought she was rather wonderful when I first heard Kenickie but that feels like a very long time ago.

Got a bit of a soft spot for LL, I fell for her voice many years ago, had no idea who she was or what she looked like, kenickie and vocals on a mint royale track.
Not seen/heard much of her other work, (was she on the girlie show?) never listened to her on radio, seemed to do a decent job on 10 o'clock live.

Not that this thread started out having anything to do with Holly Willoughby, but good call.
She is a goddess amongst mere mortals.

Hora defending who? I love 6 music but the DJ's on the whole are pretentious bores. Radcliffe and Marconi are great but even Mark Riley sounds bad. Lamacq just sounds bored.

Laverne and Hobbs just spout utter cosmic drivel, a sonic adventure on a aural magic carpet vanishing up one's pooper. Music is good though.

Holly has big boobs and that's about it. Supremely annoying and self absorbed

Lauren seems intelligent, great taste in music, lovely accent which unfortunately is fading a bit, witty, sharp...

Oh yes, (sigh), saw Kenickie three times in Bristol, got LaLa's set list from each gig. Loved it when she walked on stage, looked at the audience and greeted us with "hello tottie!"
I'm struggling to see how LaLa can be viewed as 'smug', or any 6Music presenters; unlike your average Radio One presenter, they're mostly musicians or ex-musicians, doing the job because they love what they're doing, not because they see the job purely as a step on their way to a prestigious TV career.
Well, there was Moyles, good to see how well that worked for him...
And Lamaq, sounding bored? Whenever I hear him, which isn't that often, his continued enthusiasm for music is blindingly clear.
There are some on here who are just grumpy gits who ought to stick to streaming music, then they'll have nothing to bitch about.

The picture of Holly Willoughby serves a useful function here. Just in case anyone was thinking "Hmm, perhaps this is sexist leghumping", it clarifies matters.

I like a DJ who's been at the other end, whether it's live DJ, producer, or band, whatever, it usually gives them something interesting to say. Love Dan Carter for the same reason, folk that don't just prove they love music by playing records (which is fine) but make it too.

Steve Lamacq just has a bored sounding voice. He could confess undying love to you and it'd sound like he was reading the shopping list. But that's not really important I think. (I have fond memories of him being shoved onto the main stage at Reading to read the football scores to 50000 people, absolutely shiting it)

CountZero - so basically, will nasty men leave poor Lala alone? ๐Ÿ˜†

If you think she's anything other than another London based meeja type building her portfolio of TV and radio presenting work you've not been paying attention or seen her own website. go read the colour supplement pieces for a true taste of the smugness.

Lammo delivers with the charisma of an accountant.

LL is OK. Keaveny should be shot. RadMac are fun, Tom R is great and Mark R too.

There you go! No matter how many gigs yoieve been to or set lists you've been given

Oh and what's up with Holly's norks?
