SIM or E-SIM, and which ones?

By coincidence we will be roughly following the celeb race across the world, but slowly over about 60 days, to Mexico, Belize, Guatamala, Costa Rica and Panama.

In India I found airolo esim rubbish and expensive. Physical Sims allowed calls and were crazily cheap and 100% reliable.

Any recommendations please? Esims look to be 10gb,30days,£35 and most regional esims don't include Belize, airolo being one exception .

PS. Ideally we'll get two, one each

Interestingly I have just moved to id mobile but they're roaming charges would make 60 days very expensive.

Flexiroam / Airalo / Nomad all worked fine for me in Latin America. Consider getting the regional version instead of a global one as they tend to have more roaming partners signed up. You can get physical sims in some of the airports, but others you'll need to go into a phone shop and ask for a tourist sim and provide ID.

That's one problem we'll have with getting physical Sims as most border crossings will be by land not air.

I wonder if you can get a regional physical SIM?
