Right then, I've got my second-ever hour long boxercise/circuit training session at 4 o'clock today but I've been on a no-carb (Dukan) diet since Sunday. Last time I tried to do some exercise on this diet, a hilly road ride, I felt like I'd been riding uphill for three hours after only half an hour.

So this time I'm prepared...I've got a nutrigrain elevenses bar on the desk in front of me (180 cal, 12g starch, 16g sugars) and some yoghurt in the office fridge. The big question is WHEN shall I eat these so as to make best use of the carbs??

3 minute flat out effort, then scoff. 1g of carb per kg of body + fluids. GO!!!

EDIT: Didn't read properly. It's too late.

Just remembered I had a small bowl of porridge this morning in anticipation. Now getting stuck into half a large pot of Rachel's (TM) rhubarb yoghurt. No jam to hand iDave but thanks for the tip 😉
