Is there such a thing as Land Insurance against occupational trespass for example a mobile community decides to occupy your land without permission.
And as a consequence you got to get the bailiffs at a huge cost, our village recently had to cough up £5000 to get horses of the playing field. These sort of costs would be more than land and not worth the stress of owning.
Basically I was wondering and trying to find on-line Insurance providers who would cover possible Bailiffs etc.
Any land owners here got insurance that covers this or know of a provider.
Any thoughts or pointers.
Many thanks,
RT
A Legal expenses insurance provider would be my first port of call.
@sandwicheater
Thanks for that... I started clicking down that now.
Legal Expenses InsuranceEven when using the services of a professional letting agent, problems with tenants can occur. In many cases the tenants personal circumstances have changed during the term of the tenancy.
Situations like loss of their job, failure of their business, a relationship break-up, accident or illness will effect the tenants ability to pay the rent or their inclination to move out at the end of the tenancy.
All these situations can be resolved but will usually involve a Court hearing and solicitors costs. Legal expenses insurance will usually cover all of your legal costs, solicitors/barristers fees, Court and bailiffs' costs. Most such policies will cost well under £100 which represent less than 45 minutes of a specialist solicitors time on a normal fee paying basis. The average legal cost of a possession hearing in 2001 was £785, many cost well over £1,000.

Property is theft.
Property is theft.
Whilst this is true in your opinion. I would still like some, like everyone else.
If it's land, also look for just commercial legal expenses and speak to the insurer regards you requirements.
Thanks.
I'll make some calls tomorrow.
isn't that why anarchists only drink chamomile tea?Property is theft
Cheaper just to pay mate who has a muck spreader to fertilise the occupied land.

Absolutely, and as soon as I find out where you live I'll be round after your bikes, TV's, etc.
