I'm after a bit of local knowledge. Can anyone recommend some caravan parks in the Lakes? Ideally centrally located, although that is not essential, and able to cope with 60 people.
Alternatively, cheap self catering accommodation suitable for a group of 60 (youth hostels already on the list)
While on the subject, has anyone ever stayed at Hawkshead Croft caravan park?

It does look nice, just a shame they only have 8 caravans for hire...
Most sites are the same size. Other option could be Grizedale or near Coniston I think.
I think the one near coniston is called park coppice, pretty sure it has static caravans there.
Theres one in the langdale valley that has some static caravans too.
