Spotted a Kinzo Pillar Drill on eBay. Never heard of kinzo. Are they any good? I'm only doing diy but don't want to buy junk. Thank you!

Looks like a rebranded silverline/nutool/chinese junk drill to me........

Look for a heavyweight vintage

I picked up a solid as **** meddings which drills die straight for 200 quid iirc from this here forum.... Needed a small repair but its going to outlast me im sure.

I looked at a clarke version of the 'nutool' and i wasnt convinced it wouldnt shake its self to bits - the chuck arbor rotated as it was a grove with a grub screw in - there was no way i was drilling into a 1200 quid ti frame with it.

Had to use the engine crane to get it on my bench !

I thought as much. There seems to be a big factory in china churning them out with different stickers.
Meddings is probably out of my budget. There is a place nearby that does recon sealey drills which I've heard are ok. Thanks for setting my mind at ease.

Keep an eye out on gumtree for workshop clearances.
