Firstly I had a real proper cops and robbers car chase come whizzing past me whilst taking my car in for it's MOT, then the dealership gave me a new V8 version of my car to use for a few days (thought I was 'just' getting the same as mine) and now a steam roller has just trundled past my office window 🙂

Anything good'ish' happened to you so far?

Got chased by the cops in a V8 steamroller.

Just another boring day.

Woke up with some bloke using an angle grinder 3ft from my window for the 2nd time this week, had a great Pad Thai in Hobart and found Elvis Juice on the way home

I once had a car chase come past my flat. Heard a speeding car, thought 'bloody chavs'; then followed by police cars.. then a few hours later it was on the news!

Not come across a steam roller recently, but once when out road biking on a country lane I met a tank - proper modern army evil looking one too with real soldiers in it.

Today nothing has happened, except the field bodge I carried out last night on the drop links on the Passat seems to be holding. Oh, there are some big Diwali celebrations happening in the office though which is cool.

A perfect combination of starting a new big red chippie’s pencil with a brand new blade in my Stanley knife.

I'm not sure that 5.4secs 0-60 is sacrificing much performance 😉

I've just been to a Diwali lunch laid on by our Indian colleagues. Awesome 🙂

And it was held in a CoE church hall, which is even more cross-culturally awesomer 🙂

Working from home today and tomorrow, after doing a zillion miles between Birmingham and Lancashire every day these last couple of weeks. Our play opens tonight (hence WFH), so I have an afternoon of steadily-ratcheting tension... 🙂

Is the only measure how long it takes 😉 #Bless 😉

Just polished off the last of the fabulous homemade samosas brought in by a colleague (British, but of Indian heritage fwiw).
