I get home to be told "the washing machine's not working". Turns out the pump has stopped leaving the machine full of water, I stripped the pump down to find 4 hair grips £1.10 in loose change a self tapping screw and a few odd bits of plastic. I think its time for a nap now. 🙄
How many cuts on your hands as a result of working on said washing machine?
My family have owned a few launderettes, the dump valves are often jammed with credit cards or the underwiring from bras. Annual clean of the waste pipe yields a fair haul of change too.
At least you can tidy up your hair and think about what to spend the £1.20 on.
