[Closed] Just how closely connected are one's balls to one's lower back?

Got me a recurring issue with pain in my lower back which feels more related to musculature than to spine.
It makes walking very uncomfortable, and standing straight isn't easy.
Fluid movement is just a happy memory at times like this.

Not sure why it strikes as intermittently as it does, but it's frustrating to say the least. It means I can't make use of my gym membership too.

Anyway, the most puzzling thing of all is that the dull ache seems to reach around and make itself evident in my balls too!
I mean c'mon? WTF?
Why?
As if hobbling like an older gentleman isn't bad enough.
I've heard of a 'back, sac'n'crack' wax, but there's no other connection that I can think of.
Any physios on here with any guesses, and ideas of the kind of medical professionals I should be seeing?

Much obliged for any useful, mature viewpoints.

😕

Possibly sacral dermatome nerve compression. trip to the docs or physios methinks.

Serious response - get yourself checked out down below. Have a good self check of your balls, a dull ache in the groin area can be an indicator of testicular cancer.

I've had a very similar thing over the last few months. I was on anti biotics for weeks, the doctors thinking I had an infection in the bollock. Went for ultrasound scan on balls, negative. Finally decided myself that the left lower back pain and bollock pain were related.

Had X-Rays on hip joints & lower back, all came back negative.

Just living with it at the moment. Pain in bollock has subsided a lot, but I still get intermittent (sometimes severe) pain in my back with a mild ache in the bollock.

I know I've not given a diagnosis, but I hope it helps knowing someone else maybe has the same issue.

Go see the GP and get them to refer you to a physio - to say that there are a hundred and one potential reasons would be an understatement.

Thank you.

Two immediate responses:
1) I'm off for a tender self-groping
2) First telephone call to be made tomorrow is to my GP

I can't wrestle with my kid as it's not possible, and she loves to wrestle her dad.
I can't get jiggy with my new lady friend either, and that's NOT what one needs in th early flush of a new relationship.

Dontcha just hate bad timing?

Thanks again fellas.
Will keep an update going.

... for a bit of self-teabagging that everyone on STW knows you're doing right now 😉

Seriously, hope it's minor and easily dealt with.
