Both visible with the naked eye to the west this evening - brilliant! And with our bird-watching scope, we can see Jupiter's four moons 8)
and later on tonight, in the east, we should be able to see Saturn. Worth a look out of the window, i think!

IIRC, they come closest together on the 15th? And you should catch the moon beside them at some point.

Jupiter and venus have been really clear for a good few weeks now. Amazing!

Jupiter's been around for yonks but looks fab alongside Venus. As for two planets, there's three more up for grabs this week giving five in one night. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17324826
