Just been caning a few Roses classics (ipod for christmas!)along with a few beers! and having a discussion with a mate about '95 glasto, we both went because we mainly wanted to see them but they cancelled due to Squire breaking his collar bone riding a yeti(iirc) out in california.
Anyway, to the point, anyone out there know if he still rides.
Pulp played instead iirc. And stole the weekend.

Dont know about squires but ian brown made a random comment at the end of an interview with jo willey saying "steel is real".
Good link simon - notice the "mischevious" led zep reference to a roses re-union at the end.
Heard mani on the radio recently saying they're up for it except for Brown. Some of the other interviews with squire on youtube near your link seem to suggest he's not totally against.

Not a wind up, it was the end of an interview about a year ago(ish),sure it was mentioned on here at the time.
After reading this and watching youtube spent the day listening to them, absolute class they are probably my favourite band!
You didn't miss a great deal, saw them at Spike Island in 90 which was absolutely brilliant even though performance wise they weren't very good. And at Sheffield arena in 95 which was mainly stuff from the second coming which obviously wasn't as good material. Add that to the feeling that they'd had their day and you probably saw a better gig with Pulp replacing them IMO.
I like some of Browns solo stuff, always thought Squire was the more talented of the two but his career since doesn't seem to bare that out.
Im coming round to the idea that the Happy Mondays were actually the more important band of the era.
