Too old to rock and roll too young to die, had the allbum on the Project this morning forgot how good it is, last heard maybe 25 years ago.
Big Dipper favourite track

Thick as a Brick and Aqualung are classics. I also spent some time listening to the Christmas album recently. I'm not sure why.

Iron-clad feather-feet pounding the dust
An October's day, towards evening
Sweat embossed veins standing proud to the plough
Salt on a deep chest seasoning
Last of the line at an honest day's toil
Turning the deep sod under
Flint at the fetlock, chasing the bone
Flies at the nostrils plunder.

Poetry. Brilliant poetry.

Salute the flute!

I actually wore my 1st Thick as a Brick album out.

Really don't mind if you sit this one, out.
My words but a whisper your deafness a shout.
I may make you feel but I can't make you think.
Your sperms in the gutter, your love's in the sink.

Excellent musician is Anderson.

And the bloody Church of England
in chains of history
requests your earthly presence
at the vicarage for tea

Big dipper riding
We'll give the local lads a hiding
If they keep us from the ladies
Hanging out in the penny arcades
Shaking up the tower ballroom
Throwing up in the bathroom
Landlady's in the backroom
I'm the Big Dipper
It's the weekend rage

Saw the broadsword tour.... It was superb. Loads of energy and lots of flute throwing. He never dropped it.

Also I have never heard such good sound quality in any gig since. I don't know why or how. I understand IA was very fussy about that.

Me too, Wembly Arena. Not the best venue for sound but it was a top evening.
