I will try harder to get partial face shots so not to scare anybody. Unfortunately those two were the best I could take because the wife refuses to take the pics.

I wasn't going to do another pic till the weekend, but I have access to a webcam for the first time this year in about an hour, so might fire one off then.

Had to shave my neck though, to stop me scratching it til my head fell off.

Lunchtime today:

I started on NYE because I was too poorly to be arsed shaving, so i've had a day's head start. The chin/tache area are doing alright as I expected, but the sides are rubbish. Will post a pic tonight so you've all got another man's face to look forward to...

People at work have asked why I'm not shaving. I'm so glad I didn't tell them why. 🙁

I'd love to do this, but in the time between shaved and beard I'd have "scruffy git" and would be too embarrassed to be seen in work! Oh and I shaved for the first time since xmas yesterday - missed this thread, gutted. I'd look stupid with a beard, my other half agrees.

My chin hair is longer than my head hair I think. Mind you, my nosehair seems longer still.

Bloody hell I can grow more in one day then some of you have grown in 3, no I won't be taking part I hate shaving but hate stubble even more.

eyebrows only done a few days ago. they're tricky to tame though.

I'm leaving my next photo till the weekend. It's currently better than SSP, but not as good as ton. And itchy as hell.

mine is currently in the awkward stage between stubble and full beard, mostly known as "tramp fluff" I had a nice beard in october, but shaved it all off, only for fiance to say she quite liked it and wished i'd grow it longer!

I'm getting surprisingly little piss-taking at work. I think they're a bit scared of me after I told them the internet told me to grow a beard 🙂

Only one of my 82 students has said anything yet, which is odd. Though I often went into work with a 5- or 6-day beard, so it's only now that they'll notice any difference to a normal Friday. Some of them can brow a better beard than me, so they might join in!

At home I'm getting the opposite of agro - the wife likes it 😉

still going strong here. First sign of itching tonight just under the chin. I'm same as miketually in that a weeks growth is not unusual. The smooth face was more shocking on the 1st ! However much beyond a week and either the trimmer comes out or it gets sculpted. Next week will be interesting.

Mine's really itchy and I'm getting a bit fed up of it really. Will probably shave on Sunday, though it will hurt.

i have found a asian barber in leeds.
he does proper strap n cutthroat shaves.
when the month is over i am gonna treat myself to one.

Not much to report really. Only the occasional itch, no odd reactions from people as this isn't too uncommon at the mo. Less nagging from the wife though as she seems to have accepted it as a permanent feature until at least the 31st. I'll be back in work again next week so that might bring some more reactions.

i haven't shaved since 3 days before christmas, so i suppose technically i'm ineligible for this, however i may still take a photo and post it up...

Been bearded on and off for a few years. Bit late to join in now, but particularly hairy and scruffy at moment as its too cold to shave hair or beard. The words beard and lecturer probably go together anyway so no problem at work.

Have sported a varied combination of beards, goatees, huge burns, oddly coloured hair, dreads and mohicans over the years, so looking like a scruffy odd ball is kinda normal.

Can't be bothered posting a pic of my pathetic beard attempt (i'm fair haired y'know!) but I do have one, really long chest hair if that counts? Its about 4 inches long, while all the others are one inch or smaller. Very odd. Right in the middle too.

Is it just me, Trevor and ton still in the January Scruffy Gits Gang?

Yup, I'm still in. Getting very itchy now ... wife thinks it's deserved !

I'm still in too, but I'm really bad at taking photies.

It got too scruffy and itchy. Nowhere near as good as I_Aches so not really worth continuing with 🙁 So some Taylors soap, Merkur razor and Feather blade and my face is all smooth and I don't look homeless!
