I would say it is wrong to have the awful things in the house, home made or not.

That first line is wrong 🙁

FWIW, Lidl then Aldi jaffa cakes beat McVities.

Big fan here, love them whilst sailing. Gary Rhodes used to serve a single large one as an oustanding desert. Kids swimming coach allowed them as a between race snack as they are slow release energy.

Kid's swimming coach needs to read the Nutrition Facts on the back of the packet... 6g of sugar per 12g cake...

Unless he meant quick release calories, then yeah they'd work! A 12 pack once revived me 2/3rds round a massive lakes ride...

And how can you reach adulthood without knowing what a jaffa cake looks like, then put the smashing orangey bit on the wrong side of the spongey bit.

I watched gbbo and was shocked that some people didn't know which side should be the top of the jaffa cake

Hilarious that. "We don't do that down South don't you know".

Quite right too.

Yup, difficult to enjoy a dunked Jaffa when trying to pucker a fundamental orifice with disdain.

On a family camping trip we were using up the last of our food before the trip home and stumbled upon a classic camping pudding......Jaffa Cakes and custard 😀

Is it only me who nibbles the choccy round the edge, peels the jelly bit off and eats the sponge & then sucks the orangey bit?? +1 for dunking - Its the only way to put away a packet in sub 3 minutes! 😀

Alex Ferguson came up with that.

I think they've since been superseded by fig rolls
