looking to buy hubby a new jacket, he usually wears breed/superdry that kinda thing, but wanted something different, anyone got any good suggestions? thanks!

hmmm. breif not much to go off!

That quirky, off the cuff (flash in the pan style) maybe All saints, the better G-Star garments, maybe check Urban Outfitters?

Something a little cleaner cut, Maybe Zara, Ted Baker...

So many style & options though, been casually looking for a new jacket myself for months!

Bonfire Snowboarding do some lightweight jackets that are very good.

I bought an unlined one, snug fitting and pretty windproof but not suffocatingly hot, an ideal spring/autumn jacket, or a winter dodging between pubs one.

I think this is the one I got, they have a lot of styles on the web site, worth checking out.
