I'm not a big MP3 player user, but I do use one and as I've just bought an iPhone so it seems silly to have my phone AND carry my little Creative Zen as well.

So I download iTunes, and get the phone synched up all nicely. Great. Easy peasy.

2 problems though - I've got a PC and a laptop, and most of my MP3s are one one, and a few on the other. iTunes searches them all out just fine, but I can't synch the iPhone with 2 computers, although it will let me transfer stuff I've BOUGHT over. OK, that's no problem it's only about 6 CDs worth, I'll just rip them again.

How FLIPPIN' SLOW is iTunes????

It takes AGES to rip a CD - 5-10+ minutes! Windoze Media Player that Iuse with the Creative takes 2 mins, if that. Stone the crows....

Is there a way round this?
Rip with WMP and transfer to iTunes?
Owt else?

I guess it takes a while to DRM all your music and convert it into a proprietry format. I've not noticed it to be hugely slow myself. 10 minutes sounds a bit excessive, I'm pretty sure my entire Whitney Housten collection didn't take that long.

Wait till you move your music from one hard drive to another and itunes loses track of it. I've just bought a new drive and have spent hours trying to get itunes to sort itself out. Gave up in the end and wiped it and re-built everything directly from the ipod.
