2) I suspect the answer here may be "dont use itunes"
OK we got an ipad today
My itunes library is bigger than the ipads capacity
Im using it OK with several ipods but only have playlists on the 'main' computer
Ive put some music on the ipad but would now like to add a playlist which is where the aggro starts 🙂
All of our ipods plus the ipad are sync's as a seperate playlist on itunes
eg ipad playlist, GFs ipod playlist, sons ipod playlist etc
So I just choose one and the appropriate device syncs it
What Id like to do is then add a new playlist as a submenu but I just cant work it out
I can however do this easily on my android phone (see 2)
Anyone?

Spotify no need to fill space up carrying music
If you hover over the add new playlist button it gives options, and there is a "playlist folder" options. This would allow you to make "ipad 1" and then sub divide it.
