I backed off a route on Saturday after being up to my chest in snow and unable to see more than 3ft in front of me. It's been snowing in Scotland for months, already surpassed the 2010 season.

Blazing sunshine in the northeast. It's been nice all weekend actually. Balanced by the fact that it is still the northeast.

I also like to think we don't make a fuss when our parks flood:

When you say it's surpassed the 2010 season in Scotland, do you mean the skiing? Is the weather good enough to ski?

Some roads closed in the Valleys this morning due to snow btw.

Snowing where I live near Madrid, too. And blowing a gale.

Plenty of folk have been skiing - including me last week. The problem has mainly been uplifts closed due to winds.

Sorry, forgot to mention I was talking about snowsports ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, the snow conditions have been/are incredible, however as ever the weather has been "changeable"

Thought I'd take a wee spin up to the Cairngorm car park today to see how much snow there now is.

You lucky lucky bastards!

Wish we could get some snow down here in the south, in fact i'd be pretty happy with a hard frost rather than all the bloody rain ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Blazing sunshine in the northeast. It's been nice all weekend actually. Plus the bonus of the fact that it is still the northeast.

Finally got some snow at lower levels - right down to the streets in Aviemore tonight.

This was from earlier today. 28mm Marathons weren't the best choice of tyre ๐Ÿ™‚
