£75 here, and £25 for the other half this month. We seem to be on a steady, if rather uninspiring, run just lately, which works out at the grand rate of return of 0.375% for the year so far. It still feels better than many instant-access Savings Accounts, or a lot of fixed rate ISAs for that matter.

I put a big chunk of my early retirement severance package in on May 24th to stop me frittering it away so I'm still a month away from being in the draw.

I just converted half of my useless ISA into Premium bonds (today) so I can join this party. When can I first expect to be disappointed?

August. Not great timing putting your money in at the beginning of the month as you miss the following month meaning a wait of almost 2 months. Not that you are missing out much interest on your ISA during this time.

edit: £37.56 per year interest on £10,000 at 0.375% so your extra month delay has cost you a pint in lost interest assuming you invested £10k.

Another month with nothing. I just saw that someone that only invested in August 2020 has just won £1m though. :-O

Thanks, that's annoying but it's what I expected.

The best my Nationwide ISA is offering is not 0.375%, it's 0.03%. Half is going into Premium Bonds, some on sensible stocks and the rest going on red ($GME).

Nothing dropped through the letterbox today, though I hold out something happening in the next few days and if nothing, well thems the breaks.
Also keep meaning too empty the building society accounts as with above the interest rates are a complete pi55 take. PB are more lucrative, even if i only get 2 prized per year.

£25, could really do with £100k minimum. Lol! Maybe my lotto ticket will come in but I doubt it. Someone wins though.

Talk in the news there are further plans to reduce the chances of winning. Lots of investors winning too much apparently.

Sigh.

Dumb question - if I buy some for my son can I sell them at any time and the money comes back to my bank account that funded it?

When you buy them you input a nominated bank account, which could be yours. When you sell any proceeds will go to that account.

@Onzadog is the prize checker app separate from the main NS&I app?

I put a decent chunk in end of last year, not a single prize so far, maybe this'll be my lucky month !

@tallpaul yes, all it does is check prizes. Called prize checker and you can log in with a fingerprint.

1x25 for me.
3x25 for the wife.

Such a low return for us over the last 12 months that I think cashing some in to buy a new (to us) car makes the most sense. Can't get a loan that cheaply anywhere else.

Zero 🙁

Some lucky little sod won a £1m from £20k in less than 6 months.

Nowt with about £13k in for 6 months. Wish I'd invested in bike bits...

Still Zopa closed new investments and cash savings accounts pay nothing so might as well stay in for now.
