[Closed] IT Help needed, crashing with Firefox and Sony Vegas

So far I'm only getting repeated crashing with these 2, when I start Firefox with the homepage set for google it keeps crashing until it says start in safe mode, happening about 8 times out of 10. I also have Sony Vegas HD Movie Studio Platinum, latest build and updated, and I can't even get that started it just crashes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling vegas and reinstalled an older version but it still crashes, so presuming it's a windows software problem, I tried a system restore from about 5 days ago and I still get the same problems. Everytime I get these crashes it sends off an error report, do these actually do anything? Any suggestions as to what I can do?
