Charlie - and you are so much better qualified than me to have an opinion on a piece of music? You fail to understand this

But hey ho - what do I know
You like others on here just like an excuse to jump in and give a good kicking.

So tell me - how are you qualified to call me ignorant?

Well, I may be wrong, but I suspect most people would be offended by being called "gullible and credulous" But maybe I'm just over-sensitive.

was ALWAYS going to provoke a negative reaction

you were trolling, whether for attention or just for kicks I dunno. But you WERE trolling.

actually I wasn't - just typing quicker than I thought and not thinking about how what I typed would be perceived.

And there it is - we started with the Edinburgh Variation, and finish (cross fingers, touch wood) with the Edinburgh Defence, from the original master.

like i said - been on here too long not know this. Still calling troll. Won't be admitted as once the edinburgh defence has been committed it cannot be retracted.

Has anyone seen any of the work of Bjork's partner, Matthew Barney? I endured (in the nicest possible way!) his Cremaster Cycle a few years ago - the only time I've ever felt like I'd taken drugs after watching cinema. Much of it went way over (and under) my head; but the experience was fascinating.

Indeed and I apologise for that.

Call me a liar if you want - it was not a troll - its was me unthinkingly saying what I thought. This is not "the edinburgh defense" I have never done that and find the accusations of lying offensive.

Charlie - and you are so much better qualified than me to have an opinion on a piece of music?

Perhaps not, but then again I didn't offer one, but it wasn't just music about which you opined either, you went on to offer your opinion about art too.

You fail to understand this

But hey ho - what do I know

I fully understand that, I just have trouble reconciling it with

Its only an opinion. A strong one perhaps but its all it is

You like others on here just like an excuse to jump in and give a good kicking.

Not at all, I, perhaps like others are have just had enough about you spouting shite about stuff when you haven't got a clue. When you speak from an informed or less dogmatic point of view, you'll find I don't jump in a give a kicking.

So tell me - how are you qualified to call me ignorant?

Well, I don't need to be qualified to call you ignorant. However, if you admit to it yourself, like this

But hey ho - what do I know

then I'm only taking your word for it.

Yup - sometimes - as I did here. Type and click send.

I do not lie. I do not post in seriousness and then later claim it was all a big joke.

I do however post intemperately, impetuously and unthinkingly fairly frequently

You accuse us of lying ALL THE **** TIME and no, it's not nice at all. Please don't do it to us in future!

i don't think TJ is a liar actually, he definitely gets steamed up to the point where he HAS TO KEEP ARGUING TO WIN, but then so do many, many others.

I think a few of us resemble that remark, but there's a difference between arguing a considered and honestly held case, and banging off some abuse and then trying to prop it up with ex post facto bulldust.

of course, but someone who posts intemperately, impetuously and unthinkingly fairly frequently is far, far more likely to find themselves in that position on a regular basis.

Charlie - you keep saying that. It doesn't make it true. More consistent negative posting from you

I do not lie, I do not make things up

I will however simply ignore you in future as you are dull and negative all the time.

Any words of wisdom from the massive - I've never really like Bjork but the descriptions of the live shows sound amazing. Worth going to for the visuals and other fx?

possibly just teeny weeny little ones that you can slip on a plate hidden under a lettuce leaf so's no one will notice, then you pat yourself on the back revelling in your smugness at getting away with some pork pie related fraud
