Been giving some avi files, parents old cine movies of me and my brothers, that have been converted into avi files).
Great copies, but they have a colour cast, so was thinking, is there any simple (freeware?) video editing software that can convert them into B&W, or remove the colour cast?

btw, the simpler the better, I am not that hot on IT stuff 😉

Windows Movie Maker (free, built into XP/Vista) has a Black and White filter effect.
Pretty easy to use.
