I need a fair bit of train travel, mostly local to me (south coast), over a period of 3 or 4 weeks. Is there a ticket that does this? Individual prices are pretty steep, even for just a couple of stations.

I tried looking at the actual train site but got a migraine. . . .

Rover ticket? Might be quite pricy though.
Network railcard? Discount off every ticket if you're travelling after 10ish.

Most of the discount cards seem to last a year. I could always pass it on though I guess.
