Seems the Queen is being portrayed as a pauper...

No just the incredibly self obsessed Labour women hysterically shouting again trying to make a name for herself.

Margaret Hodge, shallow populist wind bag, blind to the fact if things are wrong with society it's her job to fix them as an MP, not just berate anyone she feels is an easy target. I really can't stand the woman.

Not even close. All that she did was spend more of her benefit cheque than we gave her so had to dip into the reserves. This has nothing to do with her vast personal wealth.

Oh the poor dear! She should stop expecting taxpaywrs to subsidise her occupancy of a dwelling with too many bedrooms and learn to live within her means.

No. She did however open up her London house to paying visitors last summer, under some pressure and while staying at her wee butt & ben up in the Highlands. Then used those takings to swell her 'art collection fund' instead of using it to do some repairs to said house and her other houses.. So now she wants us to give her more money to fund those repairs. Smart thinking and I bet she hasn't paid income tax on the profits.

I'd say that's a very fair bet considering how many Offshore Tax Havens she presides over...

what might be the best method she could use to generate funds?

Perhaps she could skim a small slice of the illicit investments on the worlds no.1 Tax Haven, Jersey:

Interesting... here is an unofficial version:

Queen a bit Naughty?

I have to admit, I haven't done a great deal of research in the particular avenues covered in the above piece, so can't vouch for all facts... if you'd like to do some of your own research, I daresay there is plenty of truth in there...

However, the Jersey thing holds a great deal of water and is barely skimming the surface.

Hmm, bright purple lettering - a sure sign that a website should be taken seriously - did they run out of comic sans ?

Best tell the NSA and GCHQ to back off of your turf...

Luckily they dropped that, but I reckon there's still a chance we see the Tories suggesting legislation outlawing Food banks for being subversive...

that sounds like a bad joke footflaps, except....

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/01/28/edwina-currie-food-banks-_n_4680965.html?utm_hp_ref=uk

She suggested that the spread of food banks, with recent figures suggesting the use of food banks has tripled in a year, is not a sign of greater poverty.
