Nope. It is a regular breakfast in the WF household. Scrambled egg on crumpets with diced smokey bacon thrown in the mix. Lovely
Nope, it's fine - usual brekkie on a Sunday here is scrambled home grown eggs on home baked bread with hot smoked salmon chunks thrown in.
Today I added a couple of rashers of smoked back bacon and there was a definite improvement!
Bacon in a bagel is the way forward.
bacon and maple syrup on fried eggy crumpets. Put a little bit of chopped fresh chilli in the eggs before you cook them. A staple breakfast when I can be bothered to have breakfast
Later, in a traffic jam on way to work, yawn, stretch, rub eyes them remember you were chopping chilli half an hour ago. This is an ideal moment for the traffic to start moving again.
Its the crumpet part that is wrong 🙂 not the bacon.

Yeah, who would ruin bacon with sugar, or honey, or molasses. What kind of monster would do that. 🙂
(I'd suggest looking up a few recipes for curing bacon)
