I am looking for an Ipod dock thing what do you recommend? One of the ones with built in speakers. Budget is £200 max.

Them there Klipsch always get good reviews. I've had a play with one in Bath's Apple Store, and it was pretty impressive, but there was a lot of background noise, so in a quieter room environment I reckon they'd be more than good enough volume-wise. I bought an Altec Lansing InMotion Compact a couple of weeks ago to take on holiday, and that works pretty well, and it only cost £49. It'll run on four AA batteries as well as mains, and it's very compact; about the size of a reasonable hardback book. It's not hifi, but it does the job. £200 will get you a pretty decent unit like the Klipsch.

While these aren't strictly speaking 'docks', they are just so damned cool. Only found them a little while ago looking for something else on boingboing.com. I really, really want one.

bose sound dock

I nearly bought one of them......till I heard the igroove 😛

better sound, less cash, maybe looks better too if that matters ?

Ours is in the kitchen and perfect for that size of room. Tried it in the living room but didn't quite hack it.

Quite fancy the new Arcam R cube, but a bit over £200.
