When I upload photos from my camera they autosplit which is great. I have some sets that are were just uploaded from my desktop. Is there a way to autosplit once in iphoto?

Go to Events and select the Event you want to split.
From the Events tab at the top of the screen select "Autosplt Selected Events"
iPhoto wil split them if there is data available to do so.

If that does not work you can always do it manually.
