Decision time - iPhone 6 or 5s vs HTC One M8s - and I cant decide ๐Ÿ™‚

HTC will be cheaper. I like an unfussy appearance and good battery life is important.

I'm a bit of an HTC fan, but it will surely depend mostly on whether you have anything else that it needs to work with.
If not, and it's a straight choice, I'm pretty sure that in the real world of non-geeks, they are much the same in terms of functions/apps/usability, so go for the slightly less expensive one.

Purely based on the hassle and cost our southern colleagues have had with iPhone 5s' and simple email integration onto a secure server, vs our old and simple HTC or Motorola Android handsets, the HTC...

I go on the internet on my iPad at home, or on my phone if the iPad has been commandeered by a child. I don't need the phone to talk to any other devices or any of that jazz. Gmail should work with any of them I assume. That's about it.

Iphone 6 user here but envious of the HTC One M8 that my wife has. It's really nice to use, great reception and 4G on either Three or EE. No problems with battery life or anything else. The screen on the HTC is slightly larger than the Iphone without making it into a something as clumsy as the iphone XL.
Go with what operating system you're used to using. If you're already an android user then you'll love the HTC One.
