So, my iPhone crashed today. I heard the message sound go off, went to pick it up but there were a series of vertical grey/black lines (kinda like a barcode) on the screen. Then it just went into restart mode. When it restarted, I looked in the messages folder - there is one message from "Unknown" saying "User Retrieval Failed" and all other messages, conversations etc have just been wiped. S'ok like, there's nothing crucial gone missing but anybody have any idea what's happened?
Is it worth taking to one of those angel types in the Apple Store?

plug it into itunes and click restore.

Yes, it crashed, much like amy other computer ever built.
Just restore from backup and get on with your life. 🙂
