it may exist i don't know.

People keep on saying they are buying property as a pension, as an investment.

For most Tenants Landlords are crap, no security of tenure, poor maintenance etc.

So are there private companies who you can buy shares in who provide rental property to a reasonable spec? As an investor void periods, crap tenants, repairs etc aren't your problem,

As a tenant, your dealing with a business, who i assume is less likely to turf you out at two months notice? I

I assume that the housing associations are as close as you get currently?

Just wondering?

Our old landlord was a business, they were still crap. Crap in a different way to the accidental landlord we had before but still crap

you can invest in a portfolio of shares that's focussed in property. The thing is, that if you avoid those risks, you also avoid the ability to make 'big money' out of your investment. Once you've added in the hours a BTL landlord puts into a house, in most places i'd suspect the yield was somewhere around 2-3%, plus whatever the property gains\loses in value
