Yeah yeah, I know. Instant coffee? Pah!.
But Im sure we all fall foul when time is tight and a coffee hit is what we need.
So, which do you have in stock for a (just about acceptable) back up?
I can just about down a Douwe Egberts Pure Gold, or a Nescafe Gold.
Nescafe Gold, can't live without it.
carte noir - strong
carte noire
douwe eggburts. (sp?)
nescafe black gold - very nice it is too 😉
Cafedirect
Douwe Egberts Pure Gold here too
And you get a nice glass jar at the end of it
Douwe Egberts Pure Gold here too too. Either the Pure Gold or the Indulgence, both nice.
Yep Douwe Egberts here too
I like Tchibo (Somerfield sell it)
Pussers dust, not much choice really, (i think it's government issue gold blend, but not positive!)
Water
Tesco Finest Costa Rican - yum yum

Why even bother? I mean really?
Douwe Egberts or Kenco Rappor.
CafeDirect, Co-op Fairtrade, Carte Noir. I'm not a coffee snob and rarely make "real" coffee. When I do, I find the Lyons coffee bags are rather nice.
douwe egberts here too! Spoon and a half, black no sugar please!
hmm maybe my taste buds are wack as i'll eat & drink just about anything
i've recently tried
rocket fuel
douwe eberts pure indulgance
percol espresso stong and intense (this stuff is different)
basic percol coffee
ocasionaly pickup some coffee filters (this usually hit the spot for early morning runs/rides)
in a couple weeks i'll try something else, variety is good.
anyone recommend any coffee filters?
my colleague drinks nescafe with 3 spoons of "instant caffeinated brown hot drink", it tastes like death.
Instant? What like add water to coffee in a cafetiere, plunge and pour?
Cafedirect, Clipper Fairtrade or Carte Noir. Much prefer instant to the real stuff.
Nick stop tryin so hard... the thread is clearly not about cafetiere use.
I go for Douwe Egberts too, the dark stuff (which was £2 for a 200g jar last time I was in Asda...shame there was only 1 jar left!).
Plain old Nescafe Gold. Just managed to get enough 'beans' to get a nice free dressing gown (albeit through nicking them off all the jars in the office).
Douwe Egberts.....Nescafe Gold (there seems to be a theme developing) or anything that looks decent and is on offer.
We've got a Philips Senseo machine but can't be ar5ed with it half the time.
Geniunely surprised at the number of people who've said Nescafe.

I never drink instant coffee
Douwe Egberts
Got some Moccona for the MIL, there's always time to fire up the machine for a colombian dark roast.

So why are you posting on a thread about instant coffee? Living under a bridge?

I apologise, I didn't realise you have dyslexia.
I admit it's about 15 years since I tried instant, but isn't it similar in flavour to gravy browning?
Mellow Birds
There's always one, isn't there?
Geniunely surprised at the number of people who've said Nescafe.
You think these people have ethics? They don't even have taste buds! 😉
Nescafe Alta Rica isn't bad. Gets things moving for me in the morning.
Snigle
:o)
Percol Espresso - first choice but difficult to find in supermarkets, when we find it buy several jars.
Normally drink fresh brewed - Percol Fairtrade Espresso from choice but again difficult to find. Otherwise something fairtrade and strength 5.
Nescafe Alta Rica does it for me
Nescafe Parisien
Carte Noir
