Have managed to lose my trusty Olympus mju 300 at the weekend at Cannock 🙁 Recommend me an equally sturdy waterproof compact that can be dropped, kicked, driven over and is waterproof that also takes decent pictures.

not the cheapest I must admit, but after 2 sony failures i thought it was time to buy something a bit more burly,

this group test is pretty comprehensive,
i intially looked at the olympus tough cameras 8000/6000,
but they get a pretty bad write up on picture quality
the canon d10 was nice but just a bit too bulky as a compact
anyway hope this helps

Olympus tough is great for all the ways you want to treat it! I think picture quality is good.
If you want a direct replacement I've got an mju 300 sitting here looking for a good home.
