Enquired about a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel a few months back, we'd been thinking about it for ages. Spoke to 3 of the most well respected KC breeders in Scotland. Their prices varied from 1200 to 1800 quid, There was no CKC puppies on the usual websites for less than 3000, more commonly 3500.
The world needs less dodgy ****s selling pups.

Terribly over bread. They can suffer from a horrendous issue where basically their brain is too large for their skull. Absolutely horrible.
the KC has a lot to answer for.
Whilst I'd never normally be pro-KC, the amount of folk willing to pay stupid money for a dog is fuelling an abhorrent industry.
We ended up no bothering tbh, agreed that dog ownership doesn't really suit our lifestyle.

The world definitely needs more staffies, all you seem to get these days cockawotzis-poos, a couple of generations on and we will be over run with fluffy things of unknown breed.

Cockerpoos are a crossbreed of poodle and cockerel.

What happened to them being called mongrels or Heinz 57. Oh our dog is a pugapoo. Nope, it’s a mongrel that you were conned in to buying for silly money. Puppies are awesome though and I really miss having a dog.

Ah Kayak you have got a cracker there although you realise you have a dog bred from possibly the two most intelligent breeds. I think you’re going to be very busy for the next decade. It’s like having an intelligent lurcher. I’m very jealous.

Covid has added nearly a grand extra for indemand breeds/types of dogs, it's unfortunately/sickening, and only encourages idiots (not calling out your editor EB, just saying).
Please try and be smart about it if you want a dog atm
