Hi,

Is it easy to buy plaster again? Just wondering if I will ever get my house finished.

We had a plasterer round about a week ago to look at a job and he says its worse now than its ever been. He was saying that lots of places are quoting a weeks delivery but they generally end up being 3 weeks.

You'll probably get a better answer from a builders merchant but, yeah, still struggling to get plaster....and paint and glass and vinyl flooring and lots of other stuff.

Comes and goes, but I've just walked into the warehouse at work, and we have three and a half pallets of multi finish. Touch short of bonding and hardwall though.

I've just had 3 rooms plaster boarded and skimmed (not Ames taped)

We had no issues getting 12.5 board , bonding or multifinish

Plasterer came when he said he would and the job was done in a timely manner for a very good price.

Infact on the whole job the only hassles we had was getting cedar. Had to way 2 weeks for that.
