Havent tried this yet so thought it would be worth a shot. My father in law is out of work (as is probably a lot of the country) his trade is Gas and to date he has done engineering but more to date his last roles he has been an inspector. Over the last 10 years he has been bounced around different firms but at the moment the last 12 months really he hasnt been able to get anything despite desperatley trying. He has tried going self employed but prefers the company enviroment where he has a bit of job security
I thought it may be worth ago putting something out on here in case anybody knows of something going.. He is in his 50`s but a great worker a real perfectionist.

Not much help on finding a job, but the idea of job security as a permanent employee died about 20 years ago. 99% of companies will get shot of you as soon as they stop making a sufficient return on your labours - which may or may not be your own fault.
