I find a gentle hand on the shoulder, a small kiss on the left cheek whilst simultaneously rubbing inner thighs goes down quite well.

5.

I'm crap at (human) languages, but whenever I go somewhere I always try to learn to say at least "please", "thank you", "yes", "no" and "beer" 😀

It never sticks though.

English, French German Spanish, Polish, Dutch Italian. I've forgotten a few as well that I did learn. I always try to learn a few basic words in the language of the country I am visiting - Yes , no, please, thank you, beer. If you can't say " two beers please" "thank you" it is a poor show

Judging by most people's manners these days, I'd say the average answer to this is zero.

Even a wave of the hand seems to be beyond a lot of folk.

(I'll stick at that - I was taught some cantonese by a lad I knew at school but I think my "thank you" is probably more of a "go **** your mum" - possibly literally that)

In the Sakhalin region of Russia, 'thank you' literally translates as 'shoe laces undone'

So no, you don't know all of them.

Eng.
French
Turkish
Russian
Spanish (phrases territory now entered)
Greek (3-4 months of my life, little remains)
Italian
German
Dutch/Flemish? Something like dank you or dank ye? Having that.
Swedish/scandi - tack
Portuguese
Mandarin (general knowledge init, but can't find the Japanese word in my head, somethink like Iranu!?)
Welsh (if everyone else is, I will)
Kurdish (spasi I think, bit like the russian. Travelled through for a few flea bitten weeks.)
Forgotten a few (Sinhala? Sorry gone. Czech? Slovak? Will have known them but gone)

Tells you I've not travelled much outside Europe I guess, and not much eastern europe.
