[Closed] Image resizing program - pref by right click on the file

Anyone know a good (free) one? I used to use one but I can't for the life of me find it again by mere Google alone.

I actually need this for my mother so (trust me) it needs to be really easy to use, eg. right click on the file in explorer and it just resizes the photo, hopefully saving as a copy to preserve the original.

Anyone?

Sweet - I'll give that a try. Cheers!

[edit]No I won't, it won't install on Vista, dear me! She's on XP but I'd prefer to see how it worked myself first...[/edit]

I'd forgotten that the work laptop had XP so installed on that, works really really well, even my mum might be able to use it ๐Ÿ˜€

(Seriously, never ever try and talk a pensioner through how to configure a dial up modem over the phone, I aged about 20 years in that conversation and we still failed... I sometimes weep gently just thinking about it even now... I thought we could do it, I had faith. I was misguided ๐Ÿ˜† )

Anyway, re: image resizing tools as far I'm concerned this thread is closed, thanks all.

well, you linked to another page that didn't include the word powertoy (though your "page" did include a link to it - if you'd linked it direct I'd have seen:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
and realised that you were on about the same thing

But if it makes you feel better, you're right and I'm so, so sorry ! ๐Ÿ™
