26... thankfully I'm pleased to see I'm watching less films and forgetting the ones I have seen (although they have been swapped out for 70s/80s TV shows instead so not an improvement!).

Stuck at 60.  Man hanging upside down, the dinosaur, the fox in the cage and the crocodile with the red scarf!

The crocodile is one that lives in the big apple and the first two words sort of rhyme with crocodile.

The fox hasn’t been trapped he’s been what?

I'm at 69

Obvious ones I'm struggling with...

The upside down man on the rope

The climber on the wall

The cow just above the climber to the left

The bats flying out the cave

The dinosaur

The man sitting on the snake

The totem pole (I have the one at the very top of it, just suspect there's 2 here)

I have those three, but stuck on 57!

Hard to give a clue for the ties, except the colours represent a "team"

What is the (currently very alive) creature doing with the "Amazing, not" quote

What's happening at the top of the totem pole?

Or does that confuse more than help???

stuck on 58 with loads of obvious clues i cant get - any hints greatly appreciated:

the coloured ties

the wolf with the dice

the egg and the cigar

the tortoise

the shy goats

whatever is etched into the rockface under the goats and tiger

the greyhound baking the time - is this 2 clues?

the helicopters - are these a separate clue to the ape?

the flying man

the bear cub

the coloured ties - a watery gang of canines

the wolf with the dice - (these are 2 separate things) Dice: gambling slitherer / Wolf - Sell me this pen

the egg and the cigar - intergalactic feathered adventurer

the tortoise - A Danish author's tale

the shy goats - Pyschic warfare experiments

whatever is etched into the rockface under the goats and tiger - That etching is so hard to see it's almost...

the greyhound baking the time - is this 2 clues? - Hapless bank robbers in love

the helicopters - are these a separate clue to the ape? - A somalian disaster

the flying man - A continuous shot of the best Batman

the coloured ties

The yellow one is more like blond, i’d say

the wolf with the dice

Two  different clues.  He looks well dressed though. Maybe it’s for work?

the egg and the cigar

one of the first Marvel films

the tortoise

Try looking at it from a different direction

the shy goats

Who are they talking to?

whatever is etched into the rockface under the goats and tiger

Maybe the tiger is sitting down to make ot easier to see what is concealed?

the greyhound baking the time - is this 2 clues?

2 clues.

the helicopters - are these a separate clue to the ape?

seperate clues.

the flying man

Say what you see. If you see it, say it.

the bear cub

If it’s next to the Orangutan then it’s the same clue

Right I'm at 77. Impossible to tell what's red herrings and what's an actual one.

Parachuting cow

Donkey between the black horse and snake

Bone under the whispering horse

Chimp leaping between the cliffs

Tiny bird between the fish bowl and dice

Rabbit/ Hare next to the no hunting sign

Suspended man

Climbing woman

Bats

Dinosaur

Totem pole (got the one at the top but is it a separate thing as there's a weird black bit sticking out it about 1/3 up)

The right hand helicopter (got the left one, if they are 2 separate ones)

Cow in the bottom right

Donkey between the black horse and snake

It is a clue but it’s not a Donkey

I think there’s a second  clue for the totem pole.
All the others are not clues, I don’t believe.

gah - 75 out of 81

the ones that i'm pretty certain are clues (based on what others have said are red herrings), but can't get for the life of me:

the mouse / rat on the trap - tried lots of combinations of what i thought it was with no avail

the talking dog - git the dog, but not the talking clue

the red bird

what looks like a red badger on top of the rocks

the various rats

the wolf by the cactus (to the right of the statue of liberty)

the red bird - This is a rotten one as the bird in the picture isn't the one in the answer

what looks like a red badger on top of the rocks - it's not a badger. It's more vicious. Some would say invincible.

the various rats - what are they doing?

the wolf by the cactus (to the right of the statue of liberty) - say what you see

thanks to @BoardinBob's clue on the egg, I've finally reached 80.

Is there a clue to the right of the totem pole immediately underneath the canine with the severed arm and immediately to the left of the cat ?

If so, what the hell is it? I think that’s all I need. I saw a screen print on t’internet which showed the location of the clues and I can’t remember where and can’t find it again.

the mouse / rat on the trap - tried lots of combinations of what i thought it was with no avail - That mouse would never be stupid enough to get caught in that trap. It’d destroy the whole house first

the talking dog - git the dog, but not the talking clue - what two pieces of information is the dog telling you?

the red bird - a film about a bird who was also a red

the various rats  - some are running faster than others

On 60, stumbling around aimlessly and very occasionally

Not sure I'm missing any that I "could have" got now - just guessing really (got me "not a donkey" and "fella with wings" (I'd tried a longer answer and a shorter one for him ages ago but never heard of this)

It's a bit like the answer with the multiple rodents - massively generic (dot could be almost anywhere) and I've never heard of it as a film

I've now crept up to 74/80, not really sure with the clues that are left what is a clue and what is a red herring:

Cow in the bottom right

Dinosaur

Bats

Are both helicopters movies?

Climber

Horned Cow with Saddle

Bungee Jumper

Bulls face coming out of the cliff face next to bungee jumper

Liar Sign

Red Furred animal between the horns

Parachuting Cow

Rabbit to the right of the No Hunting post

Thursday 1430

so 13 things there and I only need 6 (or 7 as some got 81?) Any help out there?

Red Furred animal between the horns. This is a clue.  You need to identify the exact animal for a film title.

Parachuting Cow

Rabbit to the right of the No Hunting post

Thursday 1430. Clue that you now have I think.

the ties relate to code names given to the film's protagonists at the start of the movie

the liar sign - this wasn't a film I know and its not a great clue really - only one of the animals in the title is pictured next to the sign and its not about lies.

what could somebody who captures and puts this kind of animal in a cage be called (aside from ****). 2014 movie.

2

Spoiler
the opposite of the word in the sign, and two types of animals. Uma Thurman stars.

Are the ties only one clue? I'm not stuck at 78 and after being told of some of the red herrings, I am looking at other things like:

Orange hanging tie (Rabbit next to the tie?)

Blue tie on ground

Brown tie with collar

Or, what are some of the more subtle clues people initially missed?

Yes. The ties, and their colours, collectively reveal the name of a film. It was the director in question's first film. From 1992
