One of those free ones from a mag. Look ok but basically useless.

I'll be a chain bath, cos all I seem to do is wash up.

Edit - that's not really a tool, is it 😳

I'm not sure what it's called... not even really sure what it's for, but I bet it's bloody useful. If only I could work it out.

Used to be a guy at work who had the nickname "the Gimlet" for 30 odd years before he retired. A Gimlet is a small boring tool.. 😀

A set of molegrips. Useful in a "not quite the right tool for the job, but works anyway" way.

Emsz. You've really never heard of mole grips? Seriously?

Think of it as an adjustable spanner crossed with a locking set of pliers that can be used for just about everything that requires locking, clamping or turning in a spannery/pliery way.

Mole grips are rubbish compared to Speetog clamps, though - love those things.

Mole Grips.

I think I'd probably be a large flat-blade screwdriver. You know the one everyone has in their shed, gets used daily but has never actually turned a screw in its life. But it's stirred paint, levered up floorboards, prised apart casings, scraped off rust, chiselled...

Geek fact of the day: the screwdriver was invented before the screw. It was for, as you said, levering and prying stuff.
