Been a while since I lived in the states, forgotten how bonkers some parts are and what weird things they get up to. Still was impressed with how much of lady in red I could sing (teenage son was perplexed about WTF I was watching and WTF was I singing, so that was a bonus)
Is disappointed - I was expecting a man dancing [i]in[/i] a canoe! Spinning one around with an oar isn't half as impressive! 🙂

I tried it with some different music and it looked like a bloke paddling, stopping, turning, paddling some more. Does 'The Lady In Red' make it? Cos I don't really wanna hear that song if I can help it.

Not sure the music adds much but the linked paddle stroke sequence at the start is absolutely sublime. His edge control is toight too.

As a canoe coach, I endorse this view.
I took part in a canoe ballet competition at one of the early UK open canoe symposia. It's fair to say my performance was more killer whale in a wheelbarrow than tux with linked outside pivot turns...I blame the purple canoe I was in.

I have no idea what I just watched. I was expecting him to stand up and dance in the canoe like a training scene from a 90’s Van Damme movie where he has an unorthodox martial arts master teaching him. Bitterly disappointed
