Edit: whatever you decide, you need to add Viking Flagship to the end...

Brian will work, for recognition 2 syllables is best for dogs names.

Do you know which one is yours? There's a range in appearance there.

Weird - when I saw the thread title I thought 'I'll post a witty reply suggesting 'Brian' as a name'

We've not quite decided between the one at the back or the one at the front, the one at the back seems most enquisitive, the one at the front the most affectionate. The owners arnt advertising them until monday so we've got first refusal until then, they are all boys.

Strangley 'Brian' is one of thier tempoary names, but I quite like it, and I'm a fan of Family guy soo.. so it's a possibility.

The Mrs is suggesting things like Teddy and fluffy, I'm not standing for that.

Wookie, but I'm betting its a common name for them. If you don't want a common name ask you vets if it is common.

Would Yorkshit not be a bit more accurate?

My mutts are called Kobe & Braid, I have never come across another named the same. I also didn't fancy walking around the park yelling some twee name, & it needs to be short so the stupid animal has a chance of recognising it before they look at you & do what the hell they want to do anyway.

HTH.

I met a spaniel yesterday. Called Daniel. Daniel the spaniel.

So..., Terry?

Or Daniel. I quite like Daniel as a dog's name now.

Give a dog a bad name and you may as well kill it, the old saying goes.

Torpedo. That would make a great name for a dog.

In fact, I might get a dog just so I can call him/her that.

A Dachshund - they look a bit like torpedos.
