'Tis our 10 year anniversary this year. Mrs NBIF won't leave our little un for more than one night, so that rules out London/european city break. We generally have the odd night or two every year in Edinburgh, taking in a show and a nice meal, so don't want to do that.

Any idea's anyone?.

Merci.

Mate of mine rents a cottage on Harris every year. It a real family thing, kids, outlaws the lot. He loves it though. Having visited Harris/Lewis last year myself I can see why.

Thanks TJ, but we've been to the 3 lum's!. And if I went back to Harris, 'er indoors wouldn't be amused, as I'd be biking all the time!.

Macdonald Hotel on Loch Rannoch comes highly recommended !
Mrs Cale and I went there for our 5th Anniv.

Our 10th is this year also, but depending on finances, it might be a bit further afield !

I was just about to say the Dunalastair at Kinloch Rannoch! Bit similar to that above though!

Old Manse B&B, Invermoriston. Most definitely the best B&B I've ever stayed in, beats a fair few five & six star hotels to be honest. Julie & Martin are very welcoming, it's a lovely spot and you've got plenty of good restaurants on the door step.

check them out on trip advisor if you don't believe me.

Tell them Graeme sent you, I might get an extra dram next time we're up.

Took my heavily pregnant SO here for her birthday a couple of months ago - Dalmunzie Castle
Lovely ex-hunting lodge, good walks from the door step, great food, interesting history. Some pics here if interested. Not cheap, 'mind!
