Have you tried cleaning the screen? My phone does that when It's really manky.

Yeah. Thought of that already. Sadly I don't. There's a keyboard test thingy on the Mac that shows what happens when keys are pressed. It's all over the place!

Yep. New keyboard supplied without hesitation. They didn't even test the old one!
